WFCC STUDY - OUR COMMUNITY OUR PRIORITY

A few months ago, WFCC conducted a survey to help us learn more about our community - specifically what barriers womxn face that hinder ongoing growth, both personally and professionally. The survey was phase one of a more extensive study to create a feedback loop with our community and inform the development of future programming starting in 2025.
A few key learnings include:
-
Our Community faces significant challenges, with burnout at work and health issues being the most common concerns.
-
When seeking support, respondents prioritize health and wellness, personal growth, and leadership skills. They are also strongly interested in mentorship and communication skills.
-
Interestingly, 40% of respondents have already engaged in coaching programs, reflecting a belief in their benefits. However, practical barriers are the biggest obstacles for those who have not yet participated: 44% cite time constraints and 40% report financial limitations.

These are the constraints that WFCC is dedicated to breaking down through our programs,
empowering our community to overcome challenges and thrive.
What’s next?
Phase 2 of our study involves 1:1 listening sessions. We want to deepen our initial findings through hearing personal stories and exploring how coaching may help address these challenges. Survey participants who indicated an interest will receive a personal note from our team to schedule time to chat. If this is your first time participating in the study, we want to hear from you! If this is a topic of interest and you’re curious about our future programs, please reach out and we’ll schedule some time.
STUDY PHASE 2
Thank you to each and every one of you who participated by answering the Study questions. We are creating a community where every voice is heard, and every individual is empowered. We continue engaging our community to develop tailored programs and culture-change initiatives.

Please sign up for email updates and participate in Phase 2 of the study, including a 1:1 interview.
